The poetry reading at
The Kendal Mountain Book Festival was another big success, with Marc and Judi Chrysanthou, Gordon Stainforth, Duncan Bourne, Freda Raphael and Lynn Robinson giving spirited readings from The Owl & the Cragrat in the Malt Room to a largish audience. The show ended with the readers and audience all singing No Way. Over 40 copies of the book were sold.

The Owl &
the Cragrat book signing and event at
The International Festival of Mountain Literature,
University of Leeds, Bretton Hall Campus, was a huge success. Marc and Judi Chrysanthou and Gordon Stainforth from Stonegold attended (see picture). Ken Wilson and Gordon Stainforth read two of the poems, and the book received the warm approval of the ace American pioneer rockclimber Royal Robbins. (See pictures: Picture 1, Picture 2.) An astounding 50 copies of the book were sold to an audience of 150 people.
