Gordon
Stainforth (Project Director) is well-known
to readers of the Belper Literary Journal for his bold forays
into local ale houses. A phenomenally ungifted climber, he is
astonishingly adept at tying himself up in knots whilst taking
climbing photographs, and has climbed many of the country’s
easiest routes (he climbed the notoriously easy ‘Charity’
on the Idwal Slabs last year with all the style of a giant owl).
He lives, often on the pavement, between his three local pubs.
